Potty training day 2
This is going to be a loooong looong process. The potty chart is hung, the stickers are waiting and as "good" parents, the promise of a prize clings in the air. I know it's only day 2, but I think I've spent 25% of my already short time with Amelia in the bathroom. Thank goodness for the new wallflower I got today that makes the bathroom smell yummy. We might be there a while....

I'm telling you, the best thing we did when training Huck was to let him run around nekkid. It means you have a kid in the buff running around but you get used to that. The first week was horrendous but everything seemed to come together the second week. Also, he was watching D & I do our business for months before we tried to train him. Good luck!
This actually works out because Amelia hates wearing the big girl undies I made sure she picked out and made a big deal about. She's been watching us also, but nothing yet. (and 1 accident in 3 days). Nothing like coming home from work and a nekked from the waste down girl running up to you! I made a potty chart last night and hung it in the bathroom with the promise of stickers to put on when she goes. Lots of interest in sitting, so far no interest in going. In time :)
